Cookie Policy
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.
Last updated: 17 October 2025
UK Cookie Compliance
We comply with PECR, UK GDPR, and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. Prior consent is required for non-essential cookies (e.g. analytics and marketing). Limited low-risk exceptions may apply for statistical and preference purposes, where appropriate, with transparency and an opt-out option.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small files placed on your device to store and retrieve information. Similar technologies (e.g., local storage) are used for comparable purposes.
Types of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary cookies: Enable core functions like security, accessibility, and stability. Do not require consent.
- Preferences: Remember settings such as language. Some low-risk uses may qualify for new exceptions where transparency and opt-out are provided.
- Analytics: Help us understand how users interact with the site to improve it. Typically require prior consent.
- Marketing: Track behavior to show relevant ads. Always non-essential and require explicit consent.
- Third-party: Third-party providers may set cookies when used through the site. Details are available in cookie preferences.
Consent and control
We do not set non-essential cookies without your prior consent. 'Reject all' should be as easy as 'Accept all'. You can change your preferences at any time.
Note: Necessary cookies are always active to enable essential functionality.
Tools we use
- Google Tag Manager (GTM): GTM is used to centrally manage third-party tags. GTM itself should not set cookies but may load services that do, based on consent.
- Microsoft Clarity: When analytics is enabled, Clarity may collect interaction data (e.g., clicks, scrolls) to create UX insights. Clarity automatically masks form field text. Session data is retained for up to 90 days.
Cookie durations
- Session cookies: expire when the browser session ends
- Persistent cookies (e.g., preferences): up to 12 months
- Analytics cookies: typically up to 12 months
